Gingerbread Festival: FIRST RESPONDER'S BOWL theme

Every year the Salem Public Library teams up with the Salem-Roanoke County Chamber to put on the Gingerbread Festival.  This year, in honor of the First Responder's Bowl coming up December 26th, SERVPRO of Roanoke opted for a Football Stadium themed Gingerbread house.  It took many batches of rice Krispy treats, 4 tubs of icing, and a lot of gummy bears, but after 3 days our creation was finally complete!  Along with the gingerbread house contest, there were indoor activities for kids, bouncy houses and slides, as well as a grilled hotdog and burger lunch and fire pits put on by those who recently graduated from the local Citizens Academies!
